Ways to give

Holding up her family.

In the spirit of how Hayley showed up for everyone else, her family and friends are rallying to support Erik, Isla, and Margot in the days ahead. A nonprofit is helping with some funeral costs, but there are still expenses to meet. Contributions help cover any remaining funeral costs, ease the shift to a single income, provide ongoing care for Isla and Margot, and give Erik time away from work to simply be present for his girls.

Any amount makes a real difference. And if giving financially isn’t possible right now, sharing this page or signing up to bring a meal means just as much.

Tribute

Artist, healer, mother, friend.

Hayley Jeanne Hall was a sister, daughter, mother, wife, and irreplaceable friend to so many. She was a bright, shining light in the lives of everyone who knew her, and her kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit touched more people than she ever knew.

Born in Bountiful, Utah, on March 14, 1989, Hayley was the middle child in a big, loving family of eleven. She graduated from Viewmont High School and trained in Structural Integration Massage before building her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bodyworker. She never stopped learning, feeding her intuition and her gift for healing through studies in Qigong, Reiki, and beyond.

Hayley had a magic touch, and not only in her work. She loved art in every form and seemed to master everything she tried: piano, ceramics, design, poetry, music, cooking. As she liked to say:

“Just so you know, I’m pretty good at this.”

She loved a good time with her people, family vacations, and traveling for live music with her husband Erik.

Erik and Hayley married on May 23, 2014, and together they built a home in Salt Lake City with their daughters, Isla and Margot, who were her entire world. She was a devoted mother who showed up to everything: every activity, every school cafeteria shift, every turn as a crossing guard. That same love reached everyone around her, especially her many nieces and nephews, who always knew they were safe and cherished with her.

She put others first, often carrying everyone else’s pain while quietly setting her own aside. She loved bigger than most, and because of that, the hole she leaves is immense. She is deeply, deeply missed.
